Yang-style Taijiquan 108 Solo Long Form
Session Two
with Sam Masich
The traditional Yang-style Taijiquan 108 Long Form has been practiced for well over 100 years. The '108' is a treasure trove of principles, applications, and movement wisdom. Sam has practiced and researched this form for over forty years and it is one of the very best pieces of his teaching repertoire.
It's been many years since Sam Masich has taught this entire traditional form in Canada and this course will serve as both a review and a showcase for new developments. In this second session we will learn in detail every move in the second half of the routine.
Plus! A Friday-evening event
The Hands, the Arms, the Eyes & the Waist
How should I position my hands and arms in solo form practice? This is especially challenging in transitions between postures. This evening we will clarify how and why the arms move the way they do. Good for all levels! Lots of fun and play!
